Salam Al-Omaishi, MD, is a resident physician in the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency Program who treats patients at the Family Medicine Institute in Augusta. He holds an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering and graduate degrees in engineering management and biomedical engineering. Before graduating from medical school in 2019, Dr. Al-Omaishi worked in business consulting, conducted research using Raman spectroscopy to examine changes in bone, and developed a single leg external assistive walking device.
